Battle Strategies
Let the Bodies Hit the Floor (minimum 2 tanks, 1-2 healers, 3 DPS, 1 CC)
Phase 1
- Mages' amplify spell can be used when damage is mostly physical (Zath and Thekal)
- All 3 can be disarmed to ease healer's role
- MT on Zath, OT on Thekal, CC on Lor'Khan
- Zath and Thekal should be positioned just a few yards away. while Lor'Khan should be CC'd quite a distance away to prevent him from healing any of his allies
- Focus DPS on Zath to bring him down to 10-15% before CC'ing him so that MT tanks Lor'Kahn
- Focus DPS on Thekal until 10-15% before switching focus to Lor'Khan (Zath still CC'd)
- When all 3 are low health, mass-AoE all of them while OT tanks Thekal and MT tanks Zath and Lor'Kahn near wall in preparation for phase 2
- It's okay if one dies before the rest, but they must all die within 10sec of the first death
- Members will need to keep an eye on any heals done by Lor'Khan throughtout the fight, especially at the point of mass-AoE
Phase 2
- Mages' amplify spell can be used during this phase since most is physical
- MT will tank Thekal with back against wall while rDPS, healers, and OT huddle in the little alcove where boss et al. were before the fight
- Once the force punch is used, OT will tank to protect the raid until MT can regain threat and position boss as was originally
- Tigers will need to be CC'd and killed right after they are summoned (hit hard, but low HP)
- Jumping at the right time may nullify the damage and knockback (?)
Tankards (minimum 2 tanks, 1-2 healers, 3 DPS)
Effectiveness of this strategy TBA (sustainability and Zath's CC capabilities raises questions)
Phase 1
- MT tanks Zath + Lor'Khan while OT tanks Thekal
- The rest is similar to description above
Phase 2
- Identical to above description
