Jin'do the Hexxer (Jindo)

Jin'do

** Must account for Polymorph/threat drop ever 15-20s. Easiest with Druid tank. **
Spells:
  • Brainwash totem (??yd) - mind controls enemy while active
  • Powerful healing ward (??yd) - heals for 10k HP per tick (!)
  • Teleportation (??yd) - teleports enemy to center of pit
  • Jin'do Hex (??yd) - polymorphs enemy highest on threat
    • Counter - dispel
  • Delusions of Jin'do - DoT of 200dmg every 2sec, yet allows to see shades of Jin'do
    • Counter - cleanse, de-curse...
  • Summon shade of Jin'do - a shade of Jin'do spawns every time delusion of Jin'do is applied and are only visible to those cursed

Battle Strategies

Hex-immunity (minimum 1 tank, 1-2 healers, 3 DPS, 1 de-curse)
  • This strategy requires a feral tank since hex will not work (yet still seems to wipe threat), and so no OTs necessary
  • The fight will be centered around the pit since Jin'do teleports enemies there
  • Kill order: healing ward totem > shades of Jin'do > brainwash totem > Jin'do...
    • Healing wards need to be killed off first since they heal for a major amount
    • Shades of Jin'do need to be killed quickly since they can hit for 600dmg and interrupt spell casting per hit - it's a likely wipe if they accumulate
    • The damage cause by corrupted teammates is not as important as the above
    • Jin'do does not hit that hard, and removing the brainwash will allow extra DPS
  • De-cursing should be reserved for the tank ONLY - allow the DPS to kill off shades
  • Dispelling should be used on anyone affected as soon as possible
  • Shades CANNOT be killed through AoE - they need to be attacked directly
  • Priests and warriors should use their fear spells, when appropriate, to put them on CD before they get brainwashed with the ability - or else...
  • Prayer of shadow protection or other shadow res buffs (pots, etc) can be helpful in this fight
  • Any ability that decreases the amount healed should be used (rogue's poison, warr's mortal strike...)
  • Members with pets can "tag" shades having pets attack them while the curse is active - pets will continue attacking the shades even if curse expires (use the assist function to target)
  • Hunters can mark them as well with the same idea as using pets
Tank'n'Spank (minimum 2 tanks, 2 healers, 3 DPS, 1 de-curse)
  • MT and OT alternate tanking Jin'do whenever a hex occurs
  • Rest is similar to the above strategy
